What Documents Are Required?
Valid Philippine Government ID
UMID, Driver's License, Philippine Passport, PhilSys National ID, SSS/GSIS ID, Voter's ID, or PRC ID are all accepted. The ID must be current and clearly legible.
Proof of Address
A utility bill (Meralco, Maynilad, PLDT, Globe), bank statement, or barangay certificate issued within the last 3 months. Must show your full name and current address.
Selfie Holding Your ID
A clear, well-lit selfie with your face and valid ID both visible in the same frame. Avoid glare or shadows across the ID text.
Verification Steps
- Log in to your jilko account and navigate to the Account Settings > Verify Identity section.
- Upload clear photos or scans of your chosen Philippine ID (front and back if applicable).
- Upload your proof of address document and take or upload your selfie with ID.
- Submit and wait — the jilko verification team typically reviews documents within 24–48 hours. You'll receive an email/SMS confirmation once approved.

- Where possible, cover the last few digits of sensitive ID numbers (like the middle digits of your SSS or UMID number) before photographing.
